MEET TIM

I am 54 years old and I have been a fixer and Problem Solver all of my life. It is in my nature. I have had the pleasure of working with the Humane Society of the United States. In this Venture I met so many people in my area and since I am still a resident of the area along with the fact that I am deeply involved with official Community benefit activities, makes me an ideal person to further help the community through the help of the Braveheart organization.

I am also a certified animal behavior specialist. I have been certified by the Animal Behavior College.

I also have many years of teaching others to train and manage their pets. I am one of the first-ever trainers to embrace and use the clicker training methods. This method of training is the most clear and non-abrasive way to communicate with companion animals. I have perfected this art of training and I have been very successful at teaching the art of clicker training to many other happy pet caregivers.

THE MISSION

To allow the animal to live in complete mental and physical harmony with its environment and its caregivers. The animal being able to adapt, with minimal suffering, to an artificial environment provided by human beings and somehow the animals feelings must be taken into consideration. The way that humans treat animals is mostly based on their views upon themselves as well as the living environment around them and what they have been taught by other people. The greatest challenge for the future will be to disseminate the knowledge of compassion animal ethology to companion animal caregivers.

THE VISION

To unravel many of the misconceptions about how animals are managed by their caregivers. Also to open up more avenues for people of color to experience equity in the form of adoption accessibility and overall pet welfare opportunities. I want to bring more minority people into the Animal Welfare Arena. To allow more minorities to feel safe and secure with their companion animals knowing that they have a friend that can help, in the Braveheart organization.
